UnderCover Ganesha Brand Identity Design

UCG (UnderCover Ganesha) is an Internet Vlogs and Blogging portal for better understanding of Indian Culture, History and Mythology. Through time, we've only been introduced to several concepts and ideas and stories and have blindly followed them through either liking them or despising them.  UCG takes the objective approach skimming these ideas and concepts and presenting them to you in an interesting, fun and sometimes humorous way without being subjective. We will be creating Vlogs that will help you understand and reinterpret concepts of your own origin much better. A unique brand such as this required a unique logo, hence we played with the concept of “Undercover” and “Ganesha, by adding subtle hints which resemble the form of Lord Ganesha. The colour Red indicates both sensuality and purity. In Hindu religion, red is of utmost significance and the color most frequently used for auspicious occasions like marriages, birth of a child, festivals, etc. Hence the dominance of the colour in the brand identity, we experimented with watercolour art to give it a more free flowing expression. which forms into a beautiful lotus form. The lotus also known as the muladhara chakra whic is the foremost symbol of beauty, prosperity and fertility. According to Hinduism, within each human is the spirit of the sacred lotus. It represents eternity, purity, divinity, and is widely used as a symbol of life, fertility, ever-renewing youth.
