The brand NAMASTAY is a hostel service provider. The word “Nama” is derived from the words Namaste (Namah + te, Devanagari: नम:+ ते = नमस्ते) and comes from Sanskrit. The word “Stay” indicates the service. The brand name is an amalgamation depicting the feeling of a welcoming stay.
The services they provide are only targeted towards young studying and working women. The brand caters to the needs of such women, who leave the comfort of their homes in pursue of fulfilling their goals.
We were required to create a brand identity encapsulating all of the above in simple yet an impactful manner. We worked with a type based identity working with negative space, showcasing a silhouette of a woman, adhering to the target audience. The colours blue and pink represent femininity and comfort.
